Hello and welcome! I’m Clara Harper, an American expat in Germany, balancing a career in automotive tech with the joyful chaos of raising two lively boys. I’m also a children’s book author, a path I never expected but now deeply cherish.

My writing journey began when I couldn’t find engaging, emotionally rich stories for my kids while living abroad. Frustrated by the lack of options, I decided to create my own.

What started as a personal project blossomed into a fulfilling career. I’m thrilled that two of my books have climbed to the Amazon Best Seller list, and I’m especially proud that I Can Overcome My Sadness won the prestigious Mom’s Choice Award in 2024. These stories have resonated with families worldwide, and I’m honored to see them make such an impact.
